It seems when setting MySQL's root password, to avoid hacker intrusion they frantically pressed special symbols on the keyboard, which included&, and then when confirming the password& was recognized as a Linux command, causing & the following fragment of the password to be ignored
When taking over the code, the previous author wrote logs that contained a "--->"; when I logged later, copilot imitated the previous author's style and also used "--->"; later while debugging and checking logs, using grep SetUserFree---> 2024-03-01.log , the arrow inside > was treated as a Linux redirection directive, causing the log to be cleared
