PDF reading pitfalls

Using Calibre to read EPUB format is best; you can enable dark mode and avoid staring at a white background like with Adobe PDF Reader

After finishing each small section, make a summary note. Highlighting inside the book isn't very meaningful and looks troublesome.

Pitfalls when using Adobe PDF Reader:

If multiple white horizontal stripes appear while scrolling the window, restart the software.

If scrolling pages with the mouse wheel feels slow when reading a PDF, move the mouse to the bottom of the page and select "Enable Scrolling" in the pop-up window (see picture)

When an input caret appears while reading a PDF, press the Esc key to exit input mode, which makes it convenient to use the arrow keys to control page scrolling
